Mostly it's severe stress combined with lack of sleep, or overexposure to the sun. Ever since I found Promethazine I haven't had a full blown Migraine. As soon as I get the Aura and get the tunnel vision and disorientation, I take 50mg and about 30 minutes later all symptoms are gone! By the next day I'm fully recovered. The only side effects I have is drowsiness and dry mouth. But as long as I stay hydrated and take extra care driving, then I'm good to go. Hope that is some help to you.
