Week ended on a good note

Thursday and Friday were alright, and I felt like myself again, thankfully.  Now it’s Saturday and I’m planning on taking some walks this weekend, to get outside, get some exercise and generally find some ways to enjoy the three-day weekend in a soothing way.  I’m sure the beaches will be packed this weekend, so we won’t be doing that.  But there are other places to enjoy the outdoors around here.  It’s nice enough out to eat ouside too, so maybe we can think about that for dinner.

    I just ran across your blog and have read through some of it. Way too many posts for me to go back and read them all. I was just wondering if you ever tried chiropractic care to help with your migraines? We treat people every day who’ve had migraines often on for years who are now migraine free.

    I tried chiropractic care about 9 years ago, with no discernible help. Did help me with a back spasm once, though, which was great.

    I’ve been reading your blog off and on, too. I will be going back to read some of your older posts in hopes of getting some ideas for myself. I’ve never been diagnosed with migraines but lately I am having headaches that are more often, more severe and last for days. I have no idea what triggers mine and I guess I will have to start with a trip to the doctor. :-(

    Jillian - I think a visit with a doctor can be very helpful, if the doctor is willing to look at the whole picture and not just whip out the Rx pad for the quick fix. Keeping a journal is helpful - tracking water, food, sleep, stress, etc. can help provide insights into patterns that may exist.
