Thoughts on posture
How much do you think your posture affects how you feel? I know that when I spend too much time in front of my laptop, bent over somewhat, I feel it in my neck. And tension there can easily trigger a migraine. So good posture is something I need to be aware of. I’m actually hoping that the ballet classes I take will also help me with this day in and day out as I go about the business of living.

I definitely need to be more aware of it too. I spend all day hunched over the computer. Ugh. Have to keep reminding myself to straighten my back!

Hi, i have been suffering with really noxious migraines for almost 2 years now. i work in theatre most of the day and am exposed to inhalation anaesthetic gasses most of the time while running bypasses, i am pretty sure, now, that this is my main trigger point. Posture is not good sitting at the bypass machine as i am sitting down and leaning forward mostly, so my neck and shoulders tend to get really stiff and sore! i go for regular neck and back stress massages to help ease the stiffness but sometimes this doesn’t help and i am still struck down the horendous migraines. i am currently seeing a neurologist and on silbelium and topamax, which i think, God i hope i reducing the frequency of the attacks! But i really sympathise with all who suffer from these terrible headaches i just wish there was some miraculous cure!…..
Oh, i have also had 2 bouts of viral meningitis over a 12 year period, my neurologist seems to think that this could also be a cause of the attacks… i just don’t know!

I wish there was some sort of miracle cure as well. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts here.
