Dealing with loss

I’ve been taking the 3 mg of melatonin nightly for about 6 nights now. It does help me sleep better, I think, but it’s too soon to tell if it’s going to help with the migraines. Sleeping better in and of itself will help, I think.

I’ve been feeling mildly depressed lately. Dealing with some losses of friends (not particularly recent losses, truth be told, but for some reason I can’t seem to get past it), and some upcoming changes with DD going to school. I feel like I have a lot weighing me down, and it’s hard to feel lighthearted these days. I need to get past this, as it isn’t doing anyone any good. I also feel like I’m trying to go in too many different directions at times and not achieving very much at all. Feeling a bit lost, I guess.

It’s approaching 11:00 p.m., so I ought to just wrap things up and get a good night’s sleep. Maybe we’ll have some sun tomorrow for a change. That always helps my mood.
