Notes From Under the House

Current weather is eighty-four degrees and hazy. The traffic light went out in front of Home Depot (our second home). When we got to Fry’s (his third home), the lights went out in the store for about thirty minutes, came back on for a few minutes, then went out again. We had a power outage at two o’clock Wednesday morning, too. 

I just ate the best peach.  It was velvety yellow and red, nice and firm, almost crunchy (the way I like it). And it was picture perfect with its green leaf.  I almost didn’t want to bite into it, it was so beautiful.  But I did.  And now I want another one.
